Press release
SipValueCalc Cruise Drink-Package Calculator Now Available on iPhone
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE —
Sun Engineering LLC today announced that SipValueCalc, its cruise drink-package break-even tracker, is now available on the Apple App Store. The app was already available on Google Play, so cruisers can now use it on both iPhone and Android.
Cruise passengers often pay a significant amount up front for a beverage package without knowing whether they will drink enough to make it worthwhile. SipValueCalc answers one question: is your cruise drink package worth it?
Travelers enter their cruise length, package price, number of people, gratuity and currency, and customize the drinks and prices they want to track. As they log beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, soda, coffee, specialty drinks, bottled water and other beverages, the app shows a running total and break-even progress, so it is clear whether they are behind, at break-even or ahead of the package cost. Daily totals, detailed drink breakdowns and a shareable cruise summary are included.
Once the subscription is activated, core tracking works offline, which is useful when shipboard internet is limited, expensive or unavailable. The app has no ads and no affiliate links.
SipValueCalc requires a subscription: $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year. The app provides estimates only; passengers should confirm actual charges and package rules with their cruise line. SipValueCalc is not affiliated with any cruise line.
