Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to mobile applications, websites, subscriptions, in-app purchases, and related services provided by Sun Engineering LLC, including but not limited to our apps distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using any of our apps, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our apps.

1. Apps Covered

These Terms apply to all mobile apps published by Sun Engineering LLC, including current and future apps, unless a specific app has its own separate terms.

Examples may include cruise utility apps, timer apps, spending tracker apps, devotional apps, relationship apps, calculator apps, or other personal-use tools we publish.

2. App Store and Platform Terms

Our apps may be distributed through Apple, Google, or other app stores.

If you download an app from the Apple App Store, your use of that app may also be governed by Apple's applicable App Store terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, unless a custom license agreement is provided.

If you download an app from Google Play, your use of that app may also be governed by Google Play's applicable terms, policies, billing rules, refund rules, and subscription rules.

These Terms are between you and Sun Engineering LLC. Apple, Google, and other app store providers are not responsible for our apps, our content, our support, or these Terms except as required by their own platform rules.

3. License to Use the Apps

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store where you obtained the app.

You may not:

• copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the apps;
• resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the apps;
• use the apps for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes;
• interfere with the operation, security, or performance of the apps;
• use our names, logos, screenshots, icons, or branding without permission.

4. No Emergency, Safety-Critical, or Official-Source Use

Our apps are provided as convenience tools only.

They may include reminders, timers, notifications, countdowns, calculators, spending estimates, trackers, educational content, devotional content, relationship tools, or similar features. These tools are not intended for emergency use, safety-critical decisions, navigation, medical decisions, legal advice, financial advice, or any situation where an error, delay, missed reminder, or incorrect calculation could cause harm, loss, missed travel, missed deadlines, injury, or other damage.

You are responsible for verifying important information from official sources.

For cruise, travel, timer, or reminder apps, always verify official ship time, all-aboard time, port information, travel instructions, announcements, and schedules directly with the cruise line, ship staff, port authority, travel provider, or other official source.

For spending, calculator, or estimate-based apps, results are estimates only and may not include taxes, fees, gratuities, exchange rates, policy changes, refunds, credits, merchant holds, or final charges.

5. Notifications, Timers, and Device Settings

Some apps may use local notifications, reminders, alerts, countdowns, or timers.

These features depend on your device, operating system, permissions, battery settings, notification settings, time zone settings, focus modes, do-not-disturb settings, internet connection, app permissions, and other conditions outside our control.

We do not guarantee that any notification, reminder, timer, countdown, alarm, or alert will appear at a specific time or at all.

You are responsible for checking important times and reminders independently.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Some apps may offer subscriptions, in-app purchases, premium features, trials, or paid upgrades.

Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, trial terms, and included features are shown in the app or in the app store before purchase.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled according to the rules of the app store or payment platform where the purchase was made.

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.

7. Apple App Store Purchases

If you purchase an app, subscription, or in-app purchase through the Apple App Store, payment is handled by Apple.

You can manage or cancel Apple subscriptions through your Apple account subscription settings.

Refunds for Apple purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

We do not receive or store your full payment card information for Apple App Store purchases.

8. Google Play Purchases

If you purchase an app, subscription, or in-app purchase through Google Play, payment is handled by Google.

You can manage or cancel Google Play subscriptions through your Google Play account subscription settings.

Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled by Google according to Google Play's policies.

We do not receive or store your full payment card information for Google Play purchases.

9. Trials, Promotions, and Price Changes

Some apps may offer free trials, introductory offers, promotional prices, or limited-time offers.

Trial and promotional terms are shown before purchase. Unless canceled before the end of the trial or promotional period, a subscription may renew at the regular price shown at the time of purchase.

Subscription pricing and availability may vary by country, region, platform, currency, taxes, and app store rules.

10. Restore Purchases

Where supported, our apps may include a restore purchase feature to help restore eligible purchases or subscriptions made through the same app store account.

Restoring purchases may require internet access, the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase, and availability of the app store's purchase verification systems.

11. Privacy

Your use of our apps is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data, if any, is collected, stored, used, or shared.

Some apps may store information only on your device. Some apps may use platform services such as Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing to process purchases. Any additional data practices should be described in the applicable Privacy Policy and app store privacy information.

12. User-Entered Information

Some apps may allow you to enter information such as names, dates, times, cruise details, port names, reminders, notes, preferences, spending records, prices, or other personal information.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

We are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect entries, outdated information, wrong time zones, device settings, missing permissions, or user assumptions.

13. No Affiliation With Third Parties

Unless clearly stated otherwise, our apps are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Apple, Google, cruise lines, ship operators, ports, travel companies, restaurants, beverage companies, churches, ministries, or any other third-party organization.

All third-party names, trademarks, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners.

14. Intellectual Property

The apps, names, icons, graphics, layouts, text, code, designs, features, screenshots, and related materials are owned by Sun Engineering LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not use our intellectual property for commercial purposes without written permission.

15. App Updates and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any app, feature, subscription, price, or service at any time.

Some features may require a compatible device, current operating system, active subscription, internet access, app store access, or specific device permissions.

We do not guarantee that every app or feature will be available on every device, operating system, country, region, or app store.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sun Engineering LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, timely, or suitable for any specific purpose.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sun Engineering LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, missed travel, missed deadlines, missed reminders, subscription issues, device issues, notification failures, calculation errors, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use the apps.

Our total liability for any claim related to an app will not exceed the amount you paid for that app or subscription during the twelve months before the claim, or $25, whichever is greater, unless a different amount is required by law.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to an app or service if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, or use the app in a way that may harm us, other users, the app, or the platform.

You may stop using the apps at any time.

Subscription cancellation must be handled through the app store account used to make the purchase.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we update the Terms, we will update the effective date above.

Continued use of our apps after the Terms are updated means you accept the updated Terms.
